Where is the school "Italiano in Riviera"?
The school is in Alghero, one of the most famous tourist destinations in Sardinia. The headquarters is in via Gallura, a 5-minute walk from the beach and the historic center. The classrooms are air-conditioned and have free wi-fi.
When is it open?

The school is open in summer, from June 1 to October 31, every week, from Monday to Friday. The school is closed on 15 August (the holiday of Ferragosto in Italy).

Since when has it started its activity?

What's the number of students per class?

No more than 6-8 students per class to facilitate learning and socialization of each student.

How do you manage your lessons if you only have one or two students per class?

In this case (rather rare), with only one student, you are entitled to 2 individual lessons per day instead of 4 group lessons; with two students, 3 lessons per day instead of 4.

Courses

What italian courses do you offer?

The choice is varied: we propose 11 types of courses, from the General Course to the most complete and themed ones. Each student can easily find the course and the formula that best suits their time and interests.

What are lessons' times?
The General Course takes place from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:15 to 12:55, and on Monday from 15:45 to 19:25. Every morning there are 4 lessons, of 50 minutes each. The additional lessons (individual or group, depending on the course) scheduled for the other courses are held in the afternoon or evening and are agreed directly between teacher and student.
How does the placement test work?

The placement test is used to decide which class to assign each student to, starting from his/her initial level of knowledge of the language (elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate, advanced). After enrolment in the course and before arrival, the student completes and sends us back the test via email for correction. In exceptional cases, the student can take the entrance test directly at the school on Monday morning.
